About Us -- A Brief History:

 

Antioch United Methodist Church was born in the year-of-our-Lord, Eighteen Hundred and Thirty-Four (1834). That makes this beautiful, sweet 'ole Church and blessed Congregation around 184 years old. I'm pretty sure we don't have any current members that old but a lot of us have ancestors and relatives who were either part of the founding members of the church or who joined the congergations soon after. Most of us have kin folks buried in the cemetry . So,  almost all our families here at Antioch are linked and have been for many, many years.

Granddaughter of Sarah Helen (KIDD) Patterson and Great Granddaughter of John L. Kidd. (Founding Member of Antioch 1834)
